Im trying the new feats but I noticed that none of the feats gain any bonus from your spellcasting ability, just your proficiency, is this intended? is this a bug? i know it doesnt say in the description that the spellcasting ability for the spells is the same as the score you choose to increase but it just doesn't make sence on why would it work that way
In the physical book that some content creators have, all of the Magic School Adept feats from AU up Intelligence, Wisdom, or Charisma by 1(which you choose 1 of).
So yes, it's a bug as per using paying customers as the QA department, as it was before the buyout, & shall be.

The feats do increase a chosen ability score by 1, in both the physical and digital versions. That part also works correctly in D&D Beyond's character builder. That's not the bug being described in this thread.
The issue is that the spells that the "adept" feats grant as always-prepared are not incorporating the character's spellcasting ability modifier into their save DCs and attack bonuses, which is definitely incorrect. It's possible this is something they can't actually fully support right now, since the way the feats are written these technically don't use the ability score increased by the feat, but the character's existing spellcasting ability from their Spellcasting feature, which is not a way any prior feats worked and might not be supported. (In the vast majority of cases these are likely to be the same ability, but it may get weird with multiclass characters).
Worth pointing out that the physical book has been available in stores for a bit now. You don't have to be a "content creator" to have it.
I wonder if, after a new release, it might be a good idea to pin known bugs on the bug forums?
Regardless, the linked thread discusses using Homebrew or Customization of a Spell to work around this bug for either your players you are Content Sharing with as a DM or your own Character if you just want a quick fix.

I've heard from a mod that they have a back-end flagging system to group posts about specific bugs and track them, so.
I hope they fix the (AU) adept feats soon, I’m trying to build a former red wizard of they who’s studied all kinds of magic to try and defeat mortality, I’m planning to have three adept feats to represent all his years of study and right now I can’t even add them and even when using a workaround by unchecking the prerequisite box it won’t add the +1 to spellcasting ability score

Have you tried homebrewing a version that suits your purpose as detailed in the thread I linked above?
This was already fixed. You may need to check the link below to ensure your entitlements are still in sync, then open your character sheet to remove and re-add the feat. https://www.dndbeyond.com/account/licenses

Well, almost, anyway.
-Adept feats are only showing the variants for which you have spellcasting classes (for instance, only Int and Wis on a multi Cleric/Wizard) despite not showing such a limitation in the text of the feat
-Transmutation Adept still shows the generic variant for both AU and DMPC
The first is correct. The designers said these feats are intended to use the spellcasting ability from your class, so a Cleric+Wizard should indeed see INT and WIS. (If you want to add CHA anyway, you can temporarily disable feat prerequisites for that character in order to do so.)
The second has been reported to the devs already.

Did they tell whether the spells are meant to be added as class spells as well?

After replying about using the Homebrew feature to overcome this here -

I’m incredibly grateful that this issue was resolved but the Boon of Magic School Mastery is still experiencing this issue.
