DnD Beyond is counting my cantrips to my limited allowance of prepared spells. Please can someone correct if i'm wrong on this or point out to me a setting i need to change.
I wish i could attach a screenshot easily. Would be very helpful.
With all my prepared spells and cantrips, it maxs out at 11, which i cannot add anymore. It's just peculiar that it counts my cantrips in the list, when it should be maxed out at 7, not 11, which includes the cantrips.
But again, four cantrips and seven level 1+ spells prepared (for a total of 11) is correct for a level 4 5.5e Wizard.
I think the confusion may be coming from the fact that the Class -> Spells thing in the character builder has a "Prepared Spells" section which includes both the character's selected cantrips and the prepared leveled spells. This isn't incorrect but it does kind of make it seem like the cantrips are counting toward the number of prepared spells, if you don't know the character builder super well.

ModeratorSeven prepared spells is correct. Are you saying that after learning your four cantrips, you can prepare only three levelled spells?
