Hey
MY rogue has just gained level 3 and can choose a sub-class. I was going to choose Arcane Trickster but it only has Thief as an option.
I've selected all rules available but still Thief is the only option to select
Any advice would be greatly appreciated

ModeratorThe free Basic Rules include one subclass for each class. For Rogue, that’s the Thief.
If you’re playing a 5.5e Rogue, the Rogue Class Starter Pack includes Arcane Trickster:

For a 5e Rogue, you’d need the 5e PHB instead:
