I was looking at the stuff in the new wow book I made a demon hunter and I thought that since Demon hunter was technically a Ranger’s club class that all spells available to the Ranger would be available to the demon hunter when I got access to fourth level spells I tried to give my character The new spell serpent sting, but it didn’t show up when using the demon Hunter class. I try again this time using the demon hunter as a ranger sub class instead of its own class and I was able to use the spell. I don’t think that’s how this is supposed to work so which one is right
Yes, but if you play the Demon Hunter as a Ranger sub class instead of its own class, you still get access to serpent stick that’s the thing I don’t get they’re functionally two different ways to play the class one with the specialization and one without It ifyou play the version of the class that has the specialization you don’t have access to the spell That just seems weird to me

Serpent Sting is on the list for the Hunter class, not the Demon Hunter class. That seems to match what's in the book.
