User Story: I would like the ability to view a log of changes to my character sheet and the nature of the change (most importantly a series of changes may be done at level, and some changes happen in the middle of a level... or maybe I made some tweaks... or maybe I accidentally deleted the character?). From that log view I would like to "Undo" changes and go back in time.
Note 1: This topic has already sort of been raised since people want to "level down" but we really want to level down everything, not just the little number (which currently is not allowed).
Note 2: I understand this would be a huge challenge for the team but it is LITERALLY the product differentiation for D&D Beyond versus all of the 3rd party tools that are out there. If your product has this it will launch you ahead of the curve of your competition for App users... just saying.
I literally was trying to determine how something worked in DnD Beyond and down leveled my character to test it. To be fair it prompted me that I was about to do this and choices I had made would be reset. I thought I only had like 2 choices I would have to reselect. It turned out to be much more. I had to try from memory to recall the choices I had made to re-up my character. My characters stats (that I remember) are now not what they were before I down leveled and I have no clue why. A change log would be a huge asset for a number of things, accidental changes, testing how DnD Beyond implements a choice and teaching newbs what choices do to their stats.
ETA (10/09/2018): Determined what my specific problem had been!
Our DM shares a lot of content through purchases he made. I believe DNDBeyond refers to this as "shareable" content. We access this content by being apart of our DM's campaign. His account didn't auto renew last month because he got a new debit card. He resolved the issue with his account, but sharable content was not automatically reenabled. He stated that because his card expired he had to create a new subscription. He was not aware that he had to manually reenable all of the "shareable content" for the options to be restored.
This is what caused the calculating discrepancy and it never occurred to me that previous options would "disappear" from the list when down leveling my character. I determined the issue in the HP calculation was a feat that is only available when his sharable content was active.
