I have a homebrew Cleric subclass that, when originally created, I seem to recall used to show their Domain spells in the spell list. At the time, I was able to prepare them alongside already having them prepared, but at least it was functional. However, now they don't appear in the spell list until I manually select them; upon doing so they take up a prepared slot. On a whim, I tried another homebrew Cleric subclass - not created by me - and am having the same issue.
Is this a known problem (I did a quick search and couldn't find anything)? Is there a known solution? Or am I just not doing this right (completely possible)?
My particular homebrew is the Sacrifice Domain. The other I tried is the Time Domain.
Take a look at what shows up as castable under "Spells" in the Action pane on the character sheet. You should see them all there without having to explicitly prepare the domain spells.
That is, indeed, the case. However, this doesn't line up with how one would expect it to work. Within the character builder they show as something I'm allowed to prepare and do not appear in my prepared spells. This is counter to how official cleric domain spells work, and can easily cause some confusion or doubling-up on spell preparation from the character builder page - or even possibly from the character sheet if you're just looking at spell to prepare without looking at your current list of prepared spells.
Has this been discussed at all, already? My expectation is to see the spell listed as "Always Prepared" and not be selectable by the player.

I agree that this isn't the best way to show that. And I seem to recall that domain spells were previously showing up as "Always Prepared" in the selection pain, but that may have been back before the sheet revamp. I would like to see that come back.
