Skipping all the reasons and explanation, I know Speak with Animals, but I just leveled up and will be replacing that spell with another. However, my DM has offered me the option of still keeping Speak with Animals - but ONLY if I only cast it as a ritual moving forward. So aside from making a note next to the spell on my sheet, is there a way for me to edit the spell via homebrew or something to separate the spell out from the rest of the list and make it so it can only be cast as a ritual?
The only way I can think of is via homebrew feat. With that, you can specify the only ritual thing.
That's interesting. The more I think about it, I have Adobe Acrobat Pro and can probably just manipulate the spell page to add a small section for "RITUAL ONLY" and just put it there. But I was/am curious to see if/how DND Beyond displays ritual only spells in their online character sheet and the exportable ones.
