I have a 10th level warlock, I used the "Pact slot" cast button in the tooltip menu, I saw the snackbar saying "Cast Charm Monster in spell slot level 5", but the spell slot is not marked used.

Did this ever get resolved for you? I'm having the same issue but with a L3 Warlock ... clicking Cast in the sidebar doesn't do anything.
Yes, it is actually working fine now; both with single and multiclass warlocks; both by using the Cast button in the action window and in the sidebar.
