I ran into an issue with the Glamour Bard 6th level ability Mantle of Majesty. The issue that the ability reads differently on the Character Sheet and the Compendium. the Character sheet states "Creatures charmed by this ability automatically fail saving throws against the command" while the PHB/compendium states "Any creature charmed by you automatically fails its saving throw against the command you cast with this feature" My player is making the argument that whichever the creature it chooses to command is not charmed. I understand how they would think that based on the ability as it appears on the Character sheet. I told them it is meant to be used with other bard abilities/spells. Any way to clear this up?
Mantle of Majesty
Player Handbook- At 6th level, you gain the ability to cloak yourself in a fey magic that makes others want to serve you. As a bonus action, you cast command, without expending a spell slot, and you take on an appearance of unearthly beauty for 1 minute or until your concentration ends (as if you were concentrating on a spell). During this time, you can cast command as a bonus action on each of your turns, without expending a spell slot.
Any creature charmed by you automatically fails its saving throw against the command you cast with this feature.
Once you use this feature, you can’t use it again until you finish a long rest.
Character Sheet- Once per long rest as a bonus action, you cast command, without expending a spell slot. For 1 minute or until your concentration ends, you can cast command as a bonus action on each of your turns, without expending a spell slot. Creatures charmed by this ability automatically fail saving throws against the command you cast with this feature.
