Okay, so I paid for a subscription with the hopes that I could use my class in D&D (An artificer) and conveniently the Unearthed Arcana class I had been using was even on the platform, but now in creation it says basic class wizard, and that I have the subclass in my collection, but what do I do now? How do I put the subclass information in my character sheet?
Based on the above and your use of 'collection', I am assuming you are using a homebrew subclass of the Wizard for Artificer. Artificer as a full class is out of its playtest cycle and is not available on DDB as a full class.
Wizards choose their subclass at Level 2. When you reach level 2 in the Wizard class you can choose your subclass, which in this case would be the homebrew Artificer subclass.
Oh, thank you, I had assumed it would be a drop-down menu in this, I knew it was a full class and left out of DDB but I hadn't known how this would affect my game because artificer has subclasses of it's own, so how does that work? Do I just kinda "Know" That I am an alchemist or gunsmith?
That would be dependent on the homebrew subclass you have found. I imagine they have reworked it to work as a subclass entirely, so it won't really follow the progression you expect for the Artificer full class.
