Hi all, I’ve had a look and cant find a similar issue logged.
Currently I’m playing a rogue 4 wizard 2 gnome. Multiclass spell rules say I have 4 level 1 slots and 2 level 2 slots, (which are displaying correctly) but I am unable to choose any second level spells to use in these slots and am limited to casting level 1 spells at higher levels?
If you could learn/prepare any spell you had slots for, a wizard could take 1 level of cleric in order to have access to all their powerful healing spells. Or the reverse, a high level cleric could take 1 level wizard to get wall of force and wish.
When you think about it, it is clear why the limit is in place.

That is correct, as your character is able to know/learn spells as it would with its classes taken singularly.
Ok, thanks
Mildly disappointed but I will live on!
