I just recently republished our Sorcerer Chronomancer class, fixing a few typos and making it work with the new subclass rules and NOW at version 2.0 all the up votes and likes of the class are gone! We went from the second most up voted class to now the bottom without a single one.
What really stinks is that we just created a video for our channel that talked about how great it was doing, now I look like a liar.
Any way to fix this?
UPDATE: It still shows we have 555 adds of it to people's campaigns but doesn't show up if you organize it by number of adds. This is really screwy here.
I believe this is intentional. The system has no way of knowing how many changes you have made to something you're republishing, so it gets a fresh slate as changes to the work might influence the votes.
However, I do wish you received a warning before publishing a new one. "If you publish this version, the votes for (version) will be removed. Do you still wish to do this?" Or something of that nature.
It's weird because I've updated it before and it didn't go away... and the number of adds are still there for the class (555). Not to mention if you view it on a phone or tablet you can still see the older version and its old comments.
I don't see why we need to get rid of the up-votes.
The eventual fix is to have a composite number of all previous version Ratings / Adds / Views, etc. That should at least be part of the Homebrew Enhancements that are currently on our public Trello Roadmap, if it's not an individual task that we tackle sooner in a smaller iteration.
