Cant add some Spells To my Homebrew Race

I have been Home Brewing Races for my world and found you cant add certain spells to races. The ones I have found are Toll the dead, word of radiance, and primal savagery. Is this intentional or a bug?

All of those spells are from Xanathar's Guide to Everything. Have you purchased Xanathar's Guide on D&D Beyond?
