Help me understand why in the stat blocks for monsters in this module it refers to external sources even when there is a stat block in the module for the monster.
Example: Episode 3, Guard Drake - The link refers to Volo's guide to monsters but the stat block is included in appendix B.
There are other items locked beyond a pay wall, but a simple search of the WOTC site shows there is a free supplement for this adventure pack, so it shouldn't be a licensing concern when the information is in the public forum already. I really want to use D&D beyond to simplify my DM sessions, but I am frustrated by what I am hoping is an over sight on an old module.
I have the same problem with my HotDQ purchase. The Guard Drake link in Chapter 3 is pointing to Volo's Guide. Shouldn't this monster be included in my HotDQ purchase? It's not a big deal, I can use my paper copy of the book or the free supplement for these stats, but it would be nice if all the monsters in the back of HotDQ were included when you purchased the module through DNDBeyond. I was hoping I could leave my paper copies behind and use DNDBeyond exclusively for my "on-the-road" games.

Hello Tin,
Thank you for bringing this to our attention. This is indeed an over sight from a old module. We will have a fix out for it soon.
Best,

Thanks Dicey!

Hello Gbowering,
The guard drake is part of the HotDQ's appendix with monsters. Thus I have added it to that source as well as Rise of Tiamat!
If there are other monsters that are part of this adventure but are not sourced appropriately, please bring them to my attention.
Happy gaming!
