I have posted about this before, but i cant use any homebrew content. It is all bugged. I get the same error if i try to make a homebrew race or even try a subclass. Is this issue not going to be fixed? I already posted and support did nothing. As a potential customer of this site, i would like to believe that the content you pay for is fixed when errors happen. Please Fix this!!!
This is what popped up when i tried to pick a feat for Variant Human human.
This is what happens if i try to pick a sub class of any kind
but for example i have a character i made from a homebrew and my race is a fawn. I go to pick the exact same content for another sheet and it doesn't work. but worked before i got this error and its the same content. Plus i mean i understand that your not responsible for hombrew content, but when 0 of it is working that seems very odd to me.
Hi! everyone except one person in our campaign is having the same problem!! I can't see the various archetypes for my fighter and my friend cant access any special homebrew spells or ideas. Is this just some sort of bug??
Are they in a campaign where someone is sharing content, because that's what i am doing. I am using someones content they are sharing and having the issue.
Hi so my husband is the DM, he is using content that were using is ALL homebrew, doesnt matter if it's stuff he's made or other peoples. I can't get it to work for my characters abilites and our other party member can't get it to work for spells. If anyone finds a fix to this please let us know!
Found A potential work around. A player in my game was having this issue. The solution i found was to as the DM in the campaign window was to make an unassigned character for the player with the option that was causing the problem. This worked because i was both the DM and the content sharer. He was then able to claim the character and edit it as he saw fit with the homebrew content. Hopefully this error will be fixed but until then hopefully this workaround will work for you guys. Happy rolling!
This did fix some of the issues, it opened up more options, but i am still having the handler error for the option i want. thanks for the tip it sorta worked

This subclass i tried to pick is from here https://www.dndbeyond.com/characters/subclasses/4115-blood-mage
Being homebrew content, DDB is not responsible for it working or not working.
That said, what homebrew content are you using? Is yours or someone else's? Can you provide a link to the homebrew content page?
Someone else is sharing the home brew content page is blood mages and it is here: https://www.dndbeyond.com/characters/subclasses/4115-blood-mage

here is the race i tried to use : https://www.dndbeyond.com/characters/races/86476-vistani-human-variant
i made a character before this problem just fine. with a forest faun, i tried to use the same homebrew and it wont work. as an example :
now i get the error and here is the page where i got it from, https://www.dndbeyond.com/characters/subraces/35971-forest-faun it worked before and now it doesn't.
Try the Blood Mage character. If it does not work, post here the link address of the character builder page.
Do you mean try the link i sent you? for the blood mage character?
here is the link to the blood mage character builder page :

I am the only one who is having difficulty using the home brew content in my party.. it is my second character in this campaign.
RIP Sloud the Slayer
Is there any way to fix it?!
