Unless I am missing it somewhere the Martial Arts feature should allow me to use Simple Weapons and Shortswords with either Dex or Strength. Right now I have a mace equipped and it only shows Strength.

Edit: Add to that, I cannot seem to find where I would "equip" and unarmed attack either.
