On my warlock character, the Rod of the pact keeper +1 doesn't reset its used charge when I do a long rest. I have not tested the other versions of the rod (+2, etc)

Same here. Furthermore, using the charge doesn't replenish a used spell slot. It's been attuned so that's not the issue.

Items don't recover charges automatically because most recover with a die roll. You just have to adjust it automatically for now.
