Hex? And feats...

This is about the character-creator

I was a little bit confused, because the level 1 Warlock-spell Hex is not available in the list of spells.... Is this intentional?

Also when I chose a variant human, the only feat I can chose is Grabbler? Are there some other feats available? and how can I get them?

Hex and all feats other than grappler are only available in the players handbook. As such, you must either purchase the Phb or the individual spells/feats to access them
