I was looking over the Blood Hunter class page under the Order of the Profane at the spellcasting details. I did not see a reset condition for the spell slots (short rest, long rest). Since it is based on the warlock spell list, limited spells, and level of spell slots; I would assume they reset on a short rest. I wanted to confirm since there is not explicit text stating this.  Thank you in advance for looking into this.

Spell Slots. The Profane Soul Spellcasting table shows how many spell slots you have. The table also shows what the level of those slots is; all of your spell slots are the same level.

To cast one of your warlock spells of 1st level or higher, you must expend a spell slot. You regain all expended spell slots when you finish a short or long rest.

I think you were over looking this.
