It frustrates me to no end that you can't filter out spells from the Basic Rules if you choose the Player's Handbook as a source, but not Basic Rules, because even if you do, all the Basic Rules spells are still shown.
All the basic rules spells are in the PHB, but I know what you mean. They need to add exclusion filtering for everything.
