So Im making a Juggernaut War forged Fighter and he is going to be a sword and board fighter. So he gets 10 unarmored + 8 for unarmored bonus and + 2 for shield. However if I take the defensive fighting style it doesnt show up as 21 AC only 20.
Exactly it counts against barbarians but doesnt count toward defensive style
It counts against Barbarians because they use different AC calculations. The barbarians unarmoured defence is 10+Dex+Con whereas the Warforged's unarmoured Darkwood Core is 11+Dex+Proficiency(Light Armour). AC calculations don't stack. Like giving Mage Armour to a Dragonic Bloodline Sorcerer. D&DB will use whichever works out with the highest AC.
And if you choose Darkwood Core for the Integrated Armour - Barbarian still gets the Con bonus for being unarmoured.

Warforged don't wear armor and so don't benefit from defensive style.
Hopefully they will address this at some point. The whole "armored" but not armored in any mechanical sense thing.
