The last two characters I have tried to make in beyond have not had their background profs loaded into the final sheet. I have logged in and out and cleared cookies for dndbeyond. Still having this issue.
What background are you selecting for this character?
Try clicking inspiration twice and then reloading the page, or bumping the character up a level and then back down. That should refresh the data cache on the character.

Also tried custom background => smuggler
But levelng it up and down seemed to work, thanks!
