I have loads of physical copies for DnD books I got on amazon but to use the material on DnD beyond I have to painstakingly copy it into the homebrew, is there a way to have digital copies of the books if I have physical copies I didn't get on Dnd beyond?
Do you think it'll happen in the future, like a barcode scanner to verify books?
Seems unlikely. The way they have chosen to let people get digital+physical if they want it is to sell discounted bundles themselves. It lets people who want both have both, without raising prices for the still-substantial book-only audience, and also without the considerable logistical difficulties of selling books with unique digital codes through a huge variety of retailers.
They may reconsider in the future as the market changes, but I wouldn't expect so any time soon.

I’m afraid not. There’s no way the site can verify which books you own.

Okay, thanks anyway.

Even if it does happen, that’s likely not something they’d be able to apply to past purchases.

Oh yeah, there's no way for them to do it for old books. They contain no unique identifier.
