Most items in D&D can be bought separately in DnD beyond for example if you want an individual spell that is in a publication you haven't bought you can get it at reasonable cost ($1.99) however I can not find a way to but an individual Eldritch Invocation. Is this by design?
Specifically I was hoping to get Ghostly Gaze from XGtE but I can not see a way to do this without buying the whole book (assuming that would work). Is that the case or is there I way I can get the invocation on its own?
I don't know for certain but fairly sure I've seen in another post this same question and I believe the answer was to buy one of the Warlock subclasses and that should unlock all of the Invocations.
Don't quote me on that though. Perhaps you could search previous posts with this question to double check.
I am actually planning on using it on my lvl 6 celestial warlock, a quick check shows that when I get to level 7 is becomes available for no extra charge :-).
What is confusing it that it doesn't appear in the game rules for me so the only way to see it is to have a character that has it. The poster you referred to raising this previously pointed the same thing out so it must be a known issue.
