Can't Add Feats During Character Creation?

I'm trying to make a lvl 12 Fighter but when I go to pick a feat instead of an ability score increase the list is completely empty. Am I doing something wrong?

Have you bought any books on D&DB or are having them shared via a campaign with someone who has a Master subscription? There are only 3 free feats and I believe they all have restrictions like race/class that means it's possible to not be able to choose either of them.

I'm guessing the character already doesn't have 13 STR. Otherwise your bug report would be that only the one free feat is selectable.
