I just noticed that the listed AC for Expert sidekicks (when added via the "Extras" section of a character sheet) of levels 4,5, and 6 show the same AC as levels 1-3 (14) even though their DEX mod increased by one. Shouldn't their AC increase to 15 accordingly?
The rules presented in Dragon of Icespire Peak specifically state what bonuses and increases the sidekicks gain at each level.
At 4th level, the expert gains:
Ability Score Improvement. The expert’s Dex. score increases by 2, raising the modifier by 1, so increase the following numbers by 1: the Dex. saving throw bonus; the Acrobatics, Sleight of Hand, and Stealth bonuses; and the bonuses to hit and damage of the expert’s weapon attacks.
It doesn't mention armor class at all, sadly. This may have been an oversight, or may be on purpose.
I'll see what we can find out about whether it should increase the AC as well.

Makes sense from your perspective why it would be in there like that, then. But you have to admit it makes zero sense to create an inconsistency in the rules just to intentionally nerf a sidekick. I will definitely be house-ruling this one until the clarification comes through.
(As a semi-humorous side note, this almost became moot for our campaign as the sidekick in question kept failing WIS saves vs a pair of harpies and nearly walked off an 80' cliff during last night's session.)

Yeah it should because they are only wearing light armor so they should get their full dex modifier added to their AC.
