Went and chose Archery as fighting style for both Ranger and Fighter (stupid, I know). This gives me +18 on my ranged attack. This is wrong, as Archery should only clock in once and not twice. Correct to hit bonus is +16.

The character sheet does not automate everything (maybe someday). Some things will just require reading comprehension on the part of the player.
