Hi everyone. A player of mine created a new Ranger - Horizon Walker. Those get on the 7th level "Etheral Step" as a class feature:
Once per short rest, as a bonus action, you can cast the etherealness spell, without expending a spell slot, but the spell ends at the end of the current turn.
In the DDB sheet it looks now that they get the Etheral Step (which is LIKE etherealness, but only works for around 1 turn) AND Etherealness (the spell, 8h duration). Both once per short rest. It looks like a bug, because i think they only get the Etheral Step and not the full fletched spell?
The ethereal step action and etherealness spell are the same feature. It does actually cast the spell, but it changes the duration (which won't be displayed in the spell information).
The character sheet doesn't handle abilities that cast spells as limited use very well. It is hopefully on the list of things to fix in the next character sheet pass.
