The poison section currently in the DMG on D&D Beyond (https://www.dndbeyond.com/sources/dmg/running-the-game#Poisons) is not reflective of the 2018 Errata. In particular the description of the different poisons doesn't match the descriptions in the 2018 Errata (https://dnd.wizards.com/articles/sage-advice/errata-november-2018).

I've not checked the other Errata text to see if they match the current D&D Beyond errata.

Thank you for the report! I've passed it along to someone with a Poisoner's kit proficiency. ;)

Edit: They must have expertise, since it has now been fixed!
