I'm new to DnD so I expect I'm doing something really dumb. I just levelled to level 3 and me and my friends decided I should make my own oath as a bit of an inside joke. I've been trying to do it but the spells aren't being added? I'm really not sure what I need to do. I'd appreciate any help.
None of the oath spells that you have assigned are 1st level spells. When your Paladin reaches a level that they can cast the oath spells you have added to the subclass for them, they will gain access to those spells.
1 ) As DxJxC explains, you could add each spell to the subclass individually, and have them available at the level you choose to be cast without a spell slot.
2 ) You could create a homebrew copy of the spells themselves and change which level they are, and then add the homebrew versions to your subclass.

Hi,

Hi, is there any way to override this?
There is no way to override what levels classes get higher level spells.
You can add spells to be cast without slots, but that is not how oath spells work (if you are wanting to follow normal paladin patterns).
Hi again m4ge. There's a couple options for you:
1 ) As DxJxC explains, you could add each spell to the subclass individually, and have them available at the level you choose to be cast without a spell slot.
2 ) You could create a homebrew copy of the spells themselves and change which level they are, and then add the homebrew versions to your subclass.
