I'm scribing a race for a homebrew campaign (from Google Docs to d&d beyond), and I need some help with restricting the ability scores. The race allows for the charisma score to be increased by +1, but it also gives the player the option to raise another two ability scores by +1.
My problem is that these other two increases cannot be applied to the same score as each other, nor can they be charisma. I know what I want to achieve. But I do not know how to get there. If anyone who has made a homebrew race knows how to create this restriction, would you be so kind as to share it with me and anyone else who may need this answered?
The tools are not set up to be able to select this. Half-elves have this hard coded into them. You might start with a copy of half elf and see if that works.
Otherwise, you can make options and have each option have 1 ASI.
