I have created a magical maul and have no problem assigning the item to player inventory; however, when I try to click on the item in their inventory I get an error message (not sure if it's helpful but the code is fb8dc1a590bf485399cc6a34a9547465). I've removed any external references to the item and no longer have any warnings in edit page regarding external content etc...so I'm at a loss as to what's causing the error. Been trying to get around this for about 2 weeks. I've created other homebrew items in the past without issue.
You have a modifier on this item that is "Damage -> Necrotic" but no amount assigned to it. If you are looking to have an amount of Necrotic damage related to the item, you will want to detail that amount here, filling in the necessary fields to represent that. If you are instead looking to have the weapon deal Necrotic damage instead of regular damage the modifier you are looking for is "Replace Damage Type" and then select "Necrotic".
Based on your item's description I think you intend the first, so I have set it for you to take a look at. It should no longer cause the above issue. :)
