Hello everybody. I bought the races, classes, subclasses and spells from the Guildmasters' Guide to Ravnica source book as bundles ~ 2h ago. I didn't need the magic items, because at D&D Beyond I only use the excellent (unfortunately only English-speaking) character creator. If I could also buy German-language digital content here, that would be terrific and I would not consider switching to Pathfinder 2e.
Well .. about my problem: The content I bought above is not available for me to choose when creating a new character. I have already cleared the browser cache and then restarted it. Do I just have to be patient longer or are there only the COMPLETELY bought source books to choose from? That would be pretty nonsense ... Then why the subdivision?
I hear that they are working on more languages. I'm just not sure about the progress.
As for your problem, I've had this problem before too. Usually I just wait about an hour, refresh it, and then it works fine. Other than that, I don't have any way to help you. I bet people who are much better at this than me, and know a lot more will answer soon.
Hi Alkenix, there should not be a significant delay when accessing content you have purchased! We're trying to figure out why you are having that problem. Can you tell me if you can see this specific page: https://www.dndbeyond.com/spells/encode-thoughts
OK if you can see that spell then your content should be unlocked! When making a character in the creator make sure you have the Magic: The Gathering Content unlocked as a source, as without that you won't have access to any of the Ravnica options in that character. So check under Home in your character builder and make sure the MtG content is turned on.
Wow..Never thought that I need to unlock Magic Content. For me it's a different system (card game).
But unlocking Magic in Creation fixed my problem. Thanks for the easy hint. :)
Can you say something about other language content in here like german (my main language)? Are there any plans to include it after waiting years?
Cuz as a customer I can't understand why Paizo allows it and WotC didn't.. this slows the systems rollout like hell! :o (lots of my friends will never switch to 5e cuz of the missing translated digital content..)

They added the Ravnica setting, which is part of the Magic the Gathering setting. WotC makes both D&D and MtG and Guildmaster's Guide to Ravniva is a crossover product

They're working on localisation now, getting feedback on implementation. The issue stems from the fact that DDB isn't owned by WotC and came into being a while after 5e launched. By then, WotC already had distribution deals with companies in other countries, so couldn't just allow DDB to localise content without violating their existing deals with other companies.
Piazo on the other hand does a lot of their distribution, internationally and digitally, themselves so they have the ability to localise their digital tools more readily.

Does it let you see that spell?

Yes, I can see that spell and all its text.
Well..Maybe it's, cuz the parts I bought aren't displayed in "Filter Race Source(s)" when chosing a Race. Even on all sources...

Let us know if that helps!
