Hello again all! My party and I decided to move from pencil and paper to the website (we had our first game - it was AWESOME!), so I created a campaign on the website with the intention to add my characters to it, then unassign them all so the party can claim theirs. However, only 1 character can be added (which I've done, unassigned and given it to the player), but the other 5 will not show up for me to add to the campaign.
Thank you for your report, I'm sorry to hear you're both facing issues adding characters into a campaign!
Could you both try to press the "Reset Invite Link" option to the bottom right of your campaign invite link, and then try using the new link?
Additionally, if you can let us know the following it might be helpful as well:
What browser / OS are you using?
Do you have any browser add-ons, extensions, or VPNs (specifically, NordVPN)?
Can another user add characters using the link / is it only you that is affected?
Thank you very much, hopefully we can sort out a solution!
I have solved it!
I created a copy of a character, used the join link, and hey-presto! They appeared! My problem is solved. Your idea of seeing if someone else can join gave me the idea, so many thanks to you MellieDM!
@MellieDM - thanks for the quick reply. Cycling through the browser add-ons ID'ed the culprit as a "dm-screen" js script running courtesy of TamperMonkey. Disabling the add-on solved the problem.
Interestingly, the CORS issue doesn't prevent adding the character to the campaign, and only surfaces if the add-on "HTTPS Everywhere" is enabled.

For the sake of completeness, here's the character that worked:

Any help would be very much appreciated!
You should edit and remove the join link use the normal campaign URL instead.
Hey, good thought; however, no joy. The 5 characters I created still cannot join the campaign!
For reference, the normal URL is:
https://www.dndbeyond.com/campaigns/858906
I mean remove the join URL from the post. Unless you want anyone on the forums to be able to join.
OH! My bad, totally miss-understood. On it, thanks for that!
I'm unable to add characters to a campaign as well. I can select any of my characters, but the "join with this character" button remains disabled.
The console reports:

Our next adventure awaits! 😁
