I don't know what is going on or if there is already a thread, but I can't change anything about one of my characters. I can't change the name, the class, the ability scores, or anything like that. It just tells me the instructions, but won't allow me to change anything.

Sounds like it is in help mode. Hit the big blue question mark in the top left corner to turn it off.
