I don't know why, but somehow I ended up buying the background bundle so I could get more than just the 6 bases and run the character I made using the physical book and some information gathered in other locations on the web and tables IRL.

And now that I'm trying an online campaign I tried to put my guy on here and somehow my gladiator only has background information (bonds, flaws, personality, even tool proficiency) for musical based entertainers.

This an oversight or am I just going to have to play my gladiator paladin as a musician since the unusual weapon/improvised weapon tool proficiency isn't supported in the gladiator background and the gladiator character traits are musician focused.

I checked the PHB, the only difference between gladiator and entertainer is starting equipment:

You can replace the musical instrument in your equipment package with an inexpensive but unusual weapon, such as a trident or net.
