Messing with character creation, I think I found a bug, maybe with the new character sheet framework, idk... but, creating a new character: 1. it was named after my old username - "oneor0's Character"; 2. selected Homebrew, CR content and playtest content on sources; 3. manual hitpoints; variant encumbrance, and I noticed, "ignore coin weight" was deselected as it usually was when creating characters, it also says "Version: 3.0.0-alpha.53 at the bottom; 4. pallid elf race; knowledge Domain Cleric lvl 2; with Insight and Medicie Proficiencies; and I had selected Arcana and and History as Blessings of Knowledge proficiencies and Celestial and Gnomish as languages; 5. Selected "Sage (Cobalt Scholar)" background, it however gave me Arcana and History that I already had and not the option to select new skills; 6. so I changed the Blessings of Knowledge proficiencies to Nature and Religion; 7. In the character sheet ( https://ddb.ac/characters/26813343/uW3V4G ) it doesn't show my Nature and Religion proficiencies but shows selected languages from Blessings of Knowledge; 8. If I change the cleric proficiencies to arcana or history I'm prompted with new choices in the background, but not if I do the same to Blessings of Knowledge 9. tried creating a new character, same thing, old username, blessings of knowledge proficiencies don't show up
For future bugs should I post on the foruns about them or send a request? does it matter?
In addition, I've been experiencing these same bugs, including not being able to select homebrew subclasses that have been recently added to my collection since the update. However, add-ons to that homebrew collection before this update are still selectable/useable. :(
I put in a support ticket because I can't make a new Aasimar character.
I purchased the race on the digital marketplace last year, and I have a Protector Aasimar character already.
I got the 3.0.0_alpha.53 today, and the race has been missing from the character creator for me ever since.
Since you mentioned it, I noticed that the default name when I create a new character has changed from Bandy76's Character to <my twitch user name >'s Character sine the change as well.
The team is aware of recent issues with the Knowledge Cleric's expertise options not appearing on the character sheet, and issues with homebrew content for some users. For the background skills issue, I'll take a closer look at those and pass along the information. We appreciate the reports!
n1kmaus and Bandy76, I believe I have sorted your username issue -- let me know if it seems resolved.

Since today morning, it seems the issue was resolved, creating a character has my current username and blessing of knowledge correctly gives the proficiencies and interacts with the background; it just doesn't show which version of the character builder it is as it did yesterday.
I know both problems could've been easily resolved with a few tweeks on the character sheet, but I knew the feedback would be appreciated.
I also noticed the alpha version had a much more smooth experience in selecting options and some other things than the current one does, I can't wait to see what ddb will offer in the future.

anyhow, there is also a funny "bug" that wasn't mentioned on the forum before at https://www.dndbeyond.com/sources/egtw/adventures-in-wildemount-dangerous-designs#H3TheBuildersPlot where it says
"Stahlmast was prone to copying the work"
or was he?
Same hat.

I made a Rogue(revived) multiclassed with Warlock(hexblade) and it keeps throwing an error code. Idk what did it, but interesting none the less.

Thank you very much for your reports, folks!

n1kmaus and Bandy76, I believe I have sorted your username issue -- let me know if it seems resolved.
Would you please be able to provide a link to the affected character? Thanks so much!
Name issue seems to be resolved for me. TYVM.
