How do you close a tooltip in compendium from iPad?

there doesn't seem to be a way to do this other than reloading the page.

I found that, if you tap any of the menu items (sidebar or top nav) it clears the tooltip. But that is really cludgey. Would prefer to have a close icon or something like it to dismiss it.
