I created a dndbeyond account, created a character and got invited to a campaign. However, the first time I tried to add my character to the campaign it gave me a "something went wrong" error https://routerlogin.uno/https://19216801****/. Now, on any device (Mac laptop and iPad) the character is simply greyed out if I try to add it.
Can someone please tell me if there is a way to fix this short of duplicating the character by adding a new one.
Couple things to check. Is the character already in the campaign now? Sometimes the "something went wrong" error pops up, but the action you tried WAS successful, some sort of handshake or closure didn't read properly.
Second, just looking at your characters in the app, does the one in question show in a campaign?
Something went wrong may also imply there is something in your character build that the campaign setup isn't happy with? Maybe restricted content by the DM?
That's about all that comes to mind for me.
