EDIT #2: I believe I have this resolved. - It appears a SECOND TP-LINK network switch has 'soft-failed' somehow. It was removed and all is working again. =================
Are there site issues going on?
I was trying to run a campaign using Encounters (and Maps, sort of) last night and rolls from players would not show up in Maps or Encounters, and Maps itself would error out periodically and require a page refresh to keep the display up, often reverting to token placements that were 5-15 minutes behind.
Checking again just now, it looks like the issue persists, both in Chrome & Firefox, on different machines.
Is it just me??
Edit: Maybe more detail might be helpful....
Any rolls, "manual" ones by DM to all, attacks, saves, etc, none appear to display consistently to other devices, only locally. Players are using the Android app and DM is using mostly Firefox.
Some rolls come through eventually, all appear on page refreshes.
No browser extensions (well, Malwarebytes / Threatdown on Firefox on one laptop) but using Firefox and Chrome on 2 different machines so 3 browsers without. No VPNs, 3 fairly standard/official characters using standard/official weapons, fighting standard/official monsters in a standard/official campaign. (DoIP)
Not sure I'm describing it well. - Maybe a screenshot might help.
The 18 in the lower right is a DM roll sent to everyone in an Encounter, in Chrome.
The game log in white (on the left, where the roll still hasn't appeared after 2 minutes) is Firefox and is the currently active window on a relatively new Windows 11 (still 23H2 for a few more days) i9-13900H 2.6GHz with 64G of memory connected over 1G ethernet to a LoS P2P 150Mbps internet connection about 850 ft away, 0 obstructions. (Yes, our access tower is almost literally in my back yard and we have no trees blocking the view.)
At some point, while typing this out (now at 20 minutes) the roll did show up in Firefox but I don't know if it was at 5 minutes, 10, 15.... - Regardless, this makes using the site (really, the only reason I subscribe) completely useless. - If I need to use paper, I don't need a subscription for that....
