It would be super cool if the Dungeon Master was able to send out messages privately to players. In my mind, Im imagining being able to send my Warlock a private message saying something like, "your chest tightens as you see the ancient drawing on the wall in front of you. Your patreon is calling to you." then they can decide to tell the party or keep it to themselves.

You mean in a PBP (play-by-post) context? DDB does have PM system, but it’s not well suited for that kind of thing.

Actually, I think DDB’s PM system would work perfectly for that, provided the players remembered to check their PMs.
