I'm a master tier subscriber and have shared sourcebooks in my campaign, but blocked adventures. However, all of my players can read the adventures in their entirety. It appears content sharing isn't blocking blocked content.
If they have the adventures themselves, or are part of another game where a DM shares them, then they will still see the content. You cant stop them from looking at their own content.
PS: Its where in such games you have to trust your players NOT to use such information IC. If they start going "I'm searching here and there." or "I'm preparing for a combat.", things like that, then you know they are using such knowledge. That is where you start changing things around so they dont know, up the number of creatures, put a trap where they dont expect it. I would also give them warnings that if they keep it up you will boot them.

They do not own the content themselves, and are not in another campaign with someone that does own the content.
I do trust my players, but this feature isn't working correctly.
Ok, found this posted by another user, from the looks even you will have to rely on them being honest and not to cheat.

I tried turning sharing on and off again, it had no effect.
They can read blocked content in its entirety, I verified this when we met in person.
