I run and participate in several PbP games on this site and for the most part everything is fine. But every so often I go back to edit a post I've made and find that I can not. This happened to me again this evening as I was updating a round of combat. I made the post so that the dice rolls could occur and then went to edit the post to narrate the fight and when I clicked the edit button nothing happens.

I'm running Windows10 and I tested this with the latest versions of Firefox & Chrome. I even loaded Edge and tried it there 🤢. And I tried it from Chrome on my Android phone. I got the same behavior on all. Click the link, and nothing happens

Using Firefox's dev tools -> Console I see that each time I click the edit button on one of those posts I get the error

Uncaught Cannot find body content to replace cobalt:1:6627

This error is not thrown on other posts when I try to edit them, so I wonder if it's something in the post that's not getting escaped properly.
