As a blood hunter, my multiclass options are all being gatekept by an intelligence stat of 13 which has no support in the RAW or supporting text. It should be the main stat for the class being multiclassed into from what I am seeing but no, barbarian to bard and rogue is being gatekept by an Int Score of 13.
This is likely a bug. I shiver to think this was an intentional change.
And no, I'm not sacrificing my already poor perception for an int score of 13+ which is functionally not what my character is about.
Multiclassing requires you to meet multiclass prerequisites in both the class you're trying to learn AND all classes you currently have. Additionally, the stats must be yours, not a set score (such as with the Headband of Intellect).
Blood Hunter requires an Int of 13 to multiclass, and the multiclass prerequisites aren't changed just because you choose to use Wis instead of Int for your abilities. This is a part of Blood Hunter's design.
If you're using Wis for your abilities and would like to multiclass, you should talk to your DM. They may allow you to use Wis as your multiclass stat under the circumstances. If they do, you'll have to turn off the prerequisites in your character settings to achieve this on the sheet.
Just to back up what Athanar90 said, the multiclass ability score requirements are listed here (2014 version) and here (2024 version) and both very clearly say you must meet the requirements for both classes in order to multiclass.
This is not a bug, or a change; multiclassing in 5th Edition D&D has always worked this way.
