I am currently in the process of managing many of my accounts and am currently trying to "un-link" my Google account from dndbeyond. I have been reading a few different threads over the past year or two of people with similar issues that received little or no support and am hoping that is not the norm.
To be clear, my Google account is set up to not allow third-party sites to access it for "more convenient login", I have other services for that. Additionally, I manually went into my Google settings again through the "my account" options to double-check that both the third-party access settings were correct and that dndbeyond was removed from the list of sites that would be notified if third-party site access were to be allowed. I would include screenshots to clearly show the my Google settings and dndbeyond accessing the account but the thread seems to not allow that, yes I saw the "insert image" and "paste" tabs above but neither worked.
Despite the above measures dndbeyond is still linking itself to my Google account despite that accessing being revoked in Google settings, I am also using Mozilla Firefox so there should be no issues with the browser changing the access allowances. Hopefully, I have been detailed enough to alleviate the "you need to go into your google settings" responses and give someone enough information to know what the issue might be.
