When we play we generally print out new character sheets. During last night’s session I noticed a custom item I had created for myself in the last session didn’t appear on my printed sheet, but it appears without issue in my character sheet online. I created it through “Manage Equipment” on my character sheet, not through the homebrew creator.
I also noticed if I go into my character editor and go to the equipment section it doesn’t appear there either. Is this a bug, or am I missing something that I need to add to the custom item to get it to appear in my inventory?
I noticed the same issue today. I can add homebrew or custom content to my characters and my players' characters in my campaigns. Everything shows up in the character sheet online, but all the bonus, disadvantages, proficiency bonuses, attuned items, etc are removed in the shareable and printable PDF document. The PDF is editable so I can manually fix it, but that defeats the whole purpose of using the character creator in the first place.
