I’ve noticed that when I open the “My Characters” page, it has taken to sorting my characters from oldest to newest, instead of newest to oldest, which should be the default and appears to be the pre-selected option. It’s not a huge deal, I just need to change the filter to something else and then back to newest to oldest to fix it, but this should probably be corrected.

This is still an issue, both on the mobile site and the PC (Chrome) site. It doesn't happen every time, but it happens a lot.

This is indeed an interesting bug, I have found that if you have never altered the sort, this seems to be the case; however if you alter the sort to any of the others and set it back to newest, it will remember that method on returning visits. 

Sometimes it remembers, sometimes it doesn't. I clear my cache on a regular basis, so that may have something to do with it.

That would make sense, from the looks of it, this setting is stored locally (cache, cookies, etc.) rather a preference on your account across all instances and devices. I would still consider it a bug that the default sort for the characters (oldest to newest) does not match the default selection in the sort option (newest to oldest)  which can be misleading.
