I am seeking clarification on the acceptable use of the Content Sharing feature for Master Tier subscribers. I have some questions regarding how content sharing can and cannot be used within a community group and in more public spaces:
**Community Members Joining Campaigns:** A Master Tier subscriber can share content in up to five campaigns. Is it permissible for this subscriber to allow members of their wider D&D community to join these campaigns, even if they do not personally play in all of them?
**Posting Campaign Links Openly:** Is it acceptable to share campaign links openly within a community space, such as on a community forum, Discord server, or other platforms? Alternatively, is it required to distribute campaign links directly to individual members, restricting open access?
**Public Sharing on Platforms (e.g., Reddit):** What is D&D Beyond's stance on sharing campaigns publicly on forums like Reddit? For example, would it be acceptable to create a campaign where players can build their characters using shared content with book sharing disabled? Would offering temporary access for this purpose (e.g., allowing someone to join briefly to create their character and then removing them) fall within acceptable use?
**Use of Shared Content by Members Who Own Books:** Members who already own the books on their own accounts can still join campaigns where Content Sharing is enabled by a Master Tier member. Does D&D Beyond have a position on any limits or guidelines for such usage?
In summary, I would like to understand whether there are any restrictions on sharing purchased books or using the Master Tier Content Sharing feature with:
Friends
Players in campaigns
Members of a broader D&D community
Public audiences via forums or other platforms
I appreciate your guidance and clarification on this matter so that we can ensure compliance with D&D Beyond's policies. Thank you in advance for your assistance!
Best regards,
Shadowman
