I'm making a bard and trying to add Color Spray to my spell list, but the option isn't there. The spell list goes from Charm Person to Comprehend Languages.
Color Spray isn't technically on the Bard spell list, it's on the list of additional spells a Bard has to choose from if they pick the option from optional class features introduced in Tasha's Cauldron of Everything.
So to get Color Spray as a Bard, you would need to own Tasha's (the full source) or have it shared with you via a campaign, then you need to toggle on Optional Class Features on the HOME section of the Character Builder, then go to the Class section, select the Optional Feature Manager tab under Bard, and checkbox the option called Additional Bard Spells.
After that, you'll be able to add Color Spray to your spells!
