How to I give my artificer a spell refueling ring?

Hi,

So I have the infusion but cannot apply it to anything - I can't give my character a proper non-magical 'ring'? Tried a custom item named 'Ring' or 'A rRng' but that won't work either.

Am I missing a trick here?

There's a Signet Ring (Legacy) that works, if you have the 2014 Core Rules selected.

Yeah, broadly speaking, you'll have trouble using artificer without 2014 Core Rules enabled.
